Postponed until Friday, October 4!
Join PVAC Member and Master Gardener, Sharon Gross, for this open class and a brief tour of the Learning Gardens. Linda Kneeland, past president of the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators, will offer instruction on botanical Illustration. You'll then have the chance to choose a spot in the garden to draw, paint, and appreciate the autumn splendor. The cost of the class is $20 payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class. Sign up by contacting Sharon Gross at 610-742-6973 or sharonjimg@verizon.net.
The Learning Gardens, located in front of the Farm Home and Youth Complex (4-H Center), offer inspiring and educational horticultural experiences. These gardens, maintained by the Master Gardeners of Montgomery County, are open daily from dawn to dusk. You can explore the Herb Garden, Butterfly Garden, Rock Garden, Patio Garden, Food-scaping Garden, and Pollinator Friendly Garden areas.
Join us for this opportunity to enhance your botanical art by spending time sketching in the gardens. Participants will learn techniques for capturing the beauty and atmosphere of the gardens and receive guidance on improving their art. See the Materials list below for suggestions of what to bring to the class.
In case of rain, we will postpone the class until October 4. If you have any questions, contact Sharon Gross at 610-742-6073
