Painting For Kids!
I found an organization called Art2Hearts.org.
They are looking for artists to paint simple pictures for Pediatric Units. Art2hearts provides canvas boards, paints, markers, brushes and free shipping. They ask that you and friends paint ten paintings for children.
I found this non profit after a tragedy in my family in February. I didn't even want to paint because of physical & emotional limitations but I did a cute doggie and used the color purple in honor of my granddaughter. The simple painting became very therapeutic for me.
I'll be painting with people at Generations of Indian Valley twice a month on the second and fourth Thursday afternoon starting the end of August. ( If you're interested in the Generations class, please wait for their next newsletter)
