Watercolor Painting with Terry Page
Location – Peter Becker Community. Maplewood Estates, 815 Maplewood Drive, Harleysville, PA 19438. The class is located upstairs in the craft room. Take the stairs (or elevator). When the stairs divide, take the left stairway and turn right at the top (straight ahead off the elevator, passing the stairs). The classroom will be on your left just before the exercise room. For parking, there is a visitor parking lot across the street from the main entrance of Maplewood Estates.
Dates/Time – April 14, 2025 – June 9, 2025 (8 sessions); Monday mornings from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. (There will be no class on Memorial Day).
Class Description -
This class is for those who are already familiar with the basics of watercolor painting but want go a little further. We will use various techniques for 3 different paintings. Images will be supplied for your convenience.
Pre-work - Please email Terry Page for the images after you register. She will send them to you so that you can have them drawn and ready for class. This will allow students to start painting right away!

Materials List – Students must bring their own supplies to class.
Brushes – Wash brush plus an assortment of rounds.
Paints – Basic colors including cadmium yellow, yellow ochre, raw sienna, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson, violet, ultra marine blue, and hookers green.
Paper: One sheet of Arches 140 lb. 22 x 30” cold press paper, either natural or bright white. Cut the paper half, then half again; you will have 4, 11 x 15” sheets to work on. Please have 2 of them stretched and ready for class.
Other supplies to bring -
· Soft cotton rags
· #2 pencil
· Kneaded Eraser
· Palette
· Water container and something to carry all your supplies.
· Liquid frisket
· Masking (or artists’) tape
· Hair dryer
This is an eight-week session consisting of eight two-hour classes held on Monday mornings, from 10:00 am –12:00 pm. Begins April 14, 2025, ends June 9, 2025. NO class Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.
Cost: PVAC Member: $125; Non-Member: $135.

CLASS LIMITED TO 9 PARTICIPANTS
Cancellation Policy – Cancellation may be requested up to 7 days before the first class begins, however, no refunds will be issued unless the instructor cancels the entire 8-week session.
Late registrations – Students may register to join a session that is already in progress at a prorated cost, provided the class is not full. Late registration is for ALL remaining classes in the session. Cost will be determined by the number of remaining classes, plus a $15 processing fee. There will be no single-class, drop-in registrations.
