Exploring a New Possibility for PVAC: An Outreach Center

January 22, 2026 2:37 PM | Anonymous

The future of PVA "Center"

At our Board Meeting held on Wednesday, January 21, at Seasons Café, the conversation was full of energy, thoughtful ideas, and a shared sense of curiosity about the future of Perk Valley Art Center.

One idea in particular sparked strong interest and lively discussion: the possibility of establishing a PVAC outreach center in Royersford. Board member Fred Danziger introduced an opportunity to explore a 3,000-square-foot space on Main Street, offered rent-free for five years. While still very early in the process, the concept immediately generated enthusiasm and thoughtful questions about how such a space could support PVAC’s mission, programming, and community connections.

To better understand the potential of this opportunity, a small group will be touring the space on Friday, January 29, meeting with the property owner and assessing how the space might—or might not—fit PVAC’s needs. This visit is an important first step in gathering information, sharing perspectives, and determining what possibilities exist.

Fred has agreed to lead this exploratory effort, with input from board members and others who bring a range of experience and insight to the conversation. As with all major initiatives, this will be a collaborative and thoughtful process.

At this stage, no decisions have been made. This is simply an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and imagine what might be possible. More information will be shared with members as the process unfolds, and we look forward to keeping everyone informed along the way.

Thank you to all who continue to bring ideas, curiosity, and care to PVAC. Your engagement is what allows our organization to grow thoughtfully and remain responsive to our community.

Stay tuned — more news to come.
